Here is some basic information for you regarding ‘parking’ at the Walla Walla Balloon Stampede. Beautiful Tietan Park can be found on the corner of “Howard” and “Tietan” in Walla Walla.
Event parking is available on a first come first served basis every morning and for the “Nite Glow Spectacular” (on Friday eveing).
One of the things that gives this event its character is its urban location, a community park in the middle of town. The only reason we can do this is because of the exceptionally generous neighbors in the area of the park.
Street parking is available around the park. PLEASE insure that you are not blocking anyone’s driveway (and) remember, we are there because the neighbors (our Balloon Stampede partners) have generously allowed us to disrupt life in their neighborhood for five days each year.
Some street closures are in effect immediately before, during and shortly after, “Night Glow Spectacular” on Friday evening.
Parking is available in the early morning hours at Wa-High, immediately east of the park by two blocks.
We’re very sorry, no A D A parking is available at the venue.
